Here's some interesting videos I've found on YouTube of wheels and pinions being cut on a scroll saw by someone going by the screen name Flaviomac1 from Brazil.

10 Leaf Pinion  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSrPn95CG6Q

16 Leaf Pinion  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jgz-72NmZJY

60 Tooth Wheel  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0TGMQ1WN3g

Escape Wheel    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2VEaE20Bvqg

By the way, when you get to YouTube, click on the "More From This User" link to see the videos of his clocks.

I followed up your links and found that Flaviomac1 has been active with new clocks. One of the clocks was a major puzzle as it had a smoothly sweeping second hand    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ijd7As0kFvc&feature=user

Later in the video clip a very strange escapement was shown, with a belt drive ???!!!???. It was only at the end of the clip that the secret was revealed - a synchronous AC motor driving the clock. A very craftmanlike practical joke.

Hello
I saw that video a while back and wondered how he made a table top version of Marc Tovar's clock MLT 13--which is a weight driven real deal. No joke!  You can see it and a video (to compare) at http://wooden-clockworks.com.
