What happened to Rabbit's site?
« on: October 04, 2011, 05:19:50 PM »
I'm a big fan of Rabbit's clocks, which used to be here:

Yes, I know they can be dug up in the wayback machine...if you're lucky.

But this content deserves a permanent home.  The clocks are beautiful to look at and implement some really interesting escapements and time trains not often seen in wooden clocks: Strutt, retrograde, remontoire, etc.

Rabbit, you're my hero.  Are you still active on this forum?  Going to get your site going again?  Need a hand with it?  If the money's an issue, throw a few ads on there; nobody will mind.

I have been wondering the same thing.  I tried contacting him about his "Dent" clock some time ago on this forum but with no luck.

Definitely would be a shame if Rabbit's gallery of clocks were not shared.  Without a doubt, he's set a bar for wooden works!

I have been wondering too after trying to find his site to show a friend what the big ones were making. We found most of it on the way back machine, but what has happened?

i'm still alive & well.
that site was a "freebie" from my ISP, but they dropped the perk.  i hadn't updated it in two years, anyway!
i have a lot of new stuff; i'd love to share; but i'd rather design & cut wood than build & maintain a website.
i'll probably do something (?), but i don't know when.
thanks for all the (undeserved) praise!
