Electronic compensating pendulum bob
« on: January 31, 2012, 12:11:34 PM »
Several years ago, I came across a device specifically for wooden clocks on the web somewhere.

It was an electronic battery powered gadget made to fit entirely in the pendulum bob.  It had an internal quartz timer, and an accelerometer or something that enabled it to count pendulum swings.  If the clock started running fast/slow, it would automatically lower/raise the pendulum bob to compensate.

So, you could have a cool wooden clock, but also have quartz accuracy.

Now I can't find it.

Does anyone remember this device or the website it came from?
