Title: New clock

This is a new clock I've finished. It has a gravity escapement.

Wow, that is a nice looking clock.  It appears to include the base for the weights and pendulum.  How tall is it overall?  Are the gears cut from plywood and stained, or are they walnut/cherry plywood?

Did you find the gravity escapement easy to adjust?  Or did it take a bit of fiddling?  I am asking because I plan to have some additional time soon to work on a few clock designs and want to start simple.

thanks
Steve

Sorry I am taking so long to respond.  I have started work on another clock, The Epicyclic wonder by Clayton Boyer.  The plywood is home made from veneer and epoxy.  That clock is of cherry veneer.  The clock is about 6 ft. and the gravity escapement is very easy and simple to get going.  All the parts are made om my new CNC mill  If it were not for CAD and CNC I would probably not be building clocks.  I am very lazy. :)
